Development Milestone a.2

Created the administrative UI and solidified some of the features that are definitely going into the finished product. A short list of those features are:

• Import from Google Docs (Documents and Spreadsheets)


• Attach files from Google Docs or from your desktop


• Import from Blogger (Automatically when posts are made)


• Invite users, authors and reviewers from Google Contacts list


• Map Knowledge Base to a URL on your Google Apps Domain


• Add Google and OpenSocial Gadgets to Articles


• Article tiered relevance search (category, tags, problem, solution)


• Gmail Knowledge Base Search gadget for easy support response


• Easy template system for full user experience customization

The list is mostly complete. Some of these features are going to take a while to get nailed down and so we will be staging releases as we incorporate more and more items.

Development Milestone a.1

Second development sprint, we now have the news blog posted directly to the kb dashboard, so updates and features will be instantly published to the kb admins. Easy but good.

PyKnobby in Alpha Development

Webspinner Inc. has started development of a Google AppEngine Knowledge Base application. A feature list is coming soon. We will be posting news and updates here as progress is made.
